Para los que seguís más o menos esta sección sé que es un poco raro que la sexta "entrega" salga después que la séptima pero la tenía en borrador y me quedé sin luz desde el jueves hasta ayer por lo que no lo pude publicar. De todas formas en unos días lo "devolveré" a la fecha en la que debió salir publicado.
La línea Ultimate de Marvel también tiene a su Capitán Marvel aunque con unas cuantas diferencias con su contrapartida del universo 616. En este caso, Mahr Vehl (en vez de Mar-Vell, para dejarlo más extraterrestre) hace acto de presencia en la segunda parte de la triología de Warren Ellis de Gah Lak Tus: Ultimate Secret (un crossover entre los Ultimates y Ultimate Fantastic Four), dibujada por Steve McNiven (1 y 2, números que me firmó en Barcelona) y Tom Raney (3 y 4).
El primer número adapta prácticamente en su totalidad la historia del Capitán Marvel contra el centínela Kree aunque el personaje del Capitán presenta una serie de diferencias.
Para situarnos en el tiempo, decir que esta historia transcurre justo después de Ultimate Nightmare, un crossover donde los Ultimates y los Ultimate X-men se encontraban con La Visión, convertida aquí en un robot "femenino" y luchaban con experimentos fallidos rusos de supersoldados En este universo la Visión vino a la Tierra para advertirnos de la llegada de Gah Lak Tus cien años antes.
La historia de Ultimate Secret comienza en una base espacial de Shield en Nuevo Mexico, donde el Doctor Philip Lawson (Philip en vez de Walter), quien ya sabemos que es en realidad Mahr Vehl, es uno de los responsables de un nuevo sistema de propulsión que permitirá a la humanidad viajar por el universo a velocidades cercanas a la de la luz, La nave Asis es la primera que usará este nuevo sistema y se hubiera probado si la base no hubiera sido atacada por una especie de Centínela Kree, envíado por Yahn Rgg (versión Ultimate de Yon Rogg), quien ha alterado la misión y no quiere dejar que la humanidad tenga los medios para escapar de la Tierra en caso de que Gah Lak Tus venga. Por lo tanto Mahr Vehl hace lo posible para derrotar al "Robot" aunque termina inconsciente tras su batalla. Poco después es atrapado por Shield e interrogado por Carol y Nick Fury. Les confiesa su verdadero nombre Geheneris Halason Mahr Vehl Pluskomandante oficial de la flota estelar kree, un rango similar al de Capitán en la Tierra. Tenía una misión de observación para la que se sometió a cirugía (en esta versión los Krees no son tan humanoides como los del 616, aunque sí siguen siendo liderados por una Inteligencia Suprema), aunque terminó por desobedecer la orden de destruir toda posibilidad de que los humanos salieran al espacio y observar su muerta ante Gah Lak Tus.
Los Krees saben más sobre Gah Lak Tus, pero la información solo es dada a los oficiales de más alto rango especialmente entrenados para ello (si alguien supiera qué es Gah Lak Tus en realidad enloquecería según Mahr Vehl). Desde que el Capitán de la name de Mahr lo sabe, Yahn Rgg ha cambiado y quiere que los humanos se queden atrapados en la Tierra. En cambio Mahr Vehl se ha enamorado del planeta y su cultura y ha hecho lo posible para salvar a la humanidad acelerando el proyecto espacial. Para conseguir la información de los Krees, los héroes preparan un plan y se dividen en dos grupos, uno para distraer a los Krees (con la Viuda Negra, Thor, La Cosa y la Antorcha Humana) y otro que se llevará la segunda nave Asis y robará la información de Gah Lak Tus de los Krees (con el Capitán Marvel, Ojo de Halcón, Iron Man, Reed y Sue).
En la nave se enfrentan a varios Krees cuando Yahn Rgg les descubre y obliga a Mahr Vehl a que vuelva a su forma original. Marv consigue robar los datos de Gah Lak Tus y escapan justo antes de que la nave se autodestruya.
Como dato sobre este Ultimate Capitán Marvel, decir que es un miembro de la familia Halason, según la religión Kree un elegido de Dios, diseñaron naves (en este caso igual que el padre del Capitán del Universo 616) y centínelas. Según Mahr Vehl Hala simplemente era un Kree que enseñó a los demás a salvar la vida de los inocentes. Por lo tanto no es un Kree "rosado" discriminado por los azules (es más, no estoy seguro sí es de ese azul verdoso debido a la cirugía para parecer humano o es que en este caso él es de los Krees azules, él único que se ve en este Universo, cosa que tampoco me extrañaría al ser en este universo de alta escala social).

The Ultimate Universe of Marvel Comics also has his own Captain Marvel but with a few differences with his counterpart of the 616 universe. In this case, Mahr Vehl (instead of Mar-Vell, to give us a more alien name) makes his first appearance in the second part of the trilogy of Gah Lak Your (written by Warren Ellis): Ultimate Secret (a crossover between the Ultimates and Ultimate Fantastic Four ), drawn by Steve McNiven (1 and 2) and Tom Raney (3 and 4). The Vision came to Earth to warn us about the coming of Gah Lak Tus one hundred years ago, but something went wrong with its/her ship and it ended up in Russia.
The Ultimate Secret story begins in a space base of Shield in New Mexico, where Dr. Philip Lawson (Philip instead of Walter Lawson), who we actually know is really Mahr Vehl, is one of the leaders of a new propulsion system that will allow humanity to travel through the universe at almost the speed of light. Asis, the first ship that is going to use this new system is going to be tested but something happens, the base is attacked by a Kree Sentry sent by Yahn Rgg (Ultimate version of Yon Rogg), who has altered the mission and will not let that humanity to have a way to escape from Earth in case of Gah Lak Tus coming. Therefore Mahr Vehl does its best to defeat the "Robot" but ends up unconscious after the battle. Shortly after Shield caught him up and he is interrogated by Carol Danvers (who is the head of security in the base, like in the 616 universe) and Nick Fury. He confesses his real name: Mahr Vehl Halason Geheneris Pluskomander, officer of the Kree starfleet, more or less a Captain in the human range. He has been as an observer, for this mission he had a surgery to seem human (in this version Krees are not as humanoid as in the 616, although they are still led by the Supreme Intelligence). He disobeyed the order to destroy any possibility of way to leave the planet and just observe their dead before Gah Lak Tus.
The Kress know more about Gah Lak Tus, but this information is only given to the most higher officers who are specially trained for this (if anyone knew what Gah Lak Tus really is, he/she could go insane). Since the Captain of Mahr Vehl's ships knew it, Yahn Rgg, he changed and now he wants humans trapped on Earth. Instead Mahr Vehl, who has fallen in love with the planet and its culture, has done everything possible to save humanity by speeding up the space project. To get information from the Kress, the heroes prepare a plan and are divided into two groups, one to distract the Kress (with Black Widow, Thor, The Thing and the Human Torch) and one that will be travel in the second Asis ship to "steal" information of Gah Lak Tus (with Captain Marvel, Hawkeye, Iron Man, Reed and Sue).
In the Kree ship they face several Krees, when they are discovered by Yahn Rgg, he makes Mahr Vehl to return to its original form. Mahr Vehl manages to steal the data of Gah Lak Tus and escape just before the ship self-destruct itself.
